NO TRANS FAT SHORTENINGS


Medical research has determined that trans fats are a direct cause of artery blockages, increase cancer risks and contribute to arteriosclerosis and cardiovascular disease, the number one cause of death in the world. Specialists -and also a growing number of laws- recommend using natural no trans fats.

Palm oil shortening, made by fractioning palm oil and palm kernel oil, contains no trans-fatty acids. This product adapts well to the new health requirements and technological processes involved in the production of bread, chocolate, ice cream and confectionery by providing excellent texture, shine, firmness and high oxidative stability.
